The Hounslow Local Plan was adopted on 15 September 2015 by Borough Council.

Great West Corridor Plan Review
The Society completed the questionnaire on the Issues Consultation in February 2016/
Consultation on the next stage, the Preferred Options was carried out in late 2017.

The proposed policies will be the subject of a Public Inquiry and will eventually be incorporated into the Local Plan.
Once the review is completed and incorporated into the Local Plan, these policies will determine how the area develops.
Situated where we are on the borders of East Brentford this will have a significant impact on us. Members are therefore encouraged to participate in the drop-in session
and to respond to the consultation. It is suggested that in relation to Section 5 Places Policy, members might wish to focus on Policy P3 which relates to the eastern section of the Great West Corridor.
The Council is now carrying out a final (Regulation 19) consultation on the the Great West Corridor Plan Review with a deadline for comment of 24th September 2019. The consultation documents are available on the Council’s Consultation webpage.
Council Drop-in Session
The Council will be holding a drop-in session and workshop for discussion of the Local Plan Review of the Great West Corridor on:

This drop-in session will be our last opportunity to discuss the Plan Review with the planning policy team before we submit our comments on the latest version and before it is submitted to the Secretary of State.
Brentford East Supplementary Planning Document (SPD)
As the Great West Corridor Local Plan Review is still at a relatively early stage in the plan making process, interim guidance is being proposed as a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) for the area from Kew Bridge station to, and around, the Chiswick Roundabout; it includes Power Road.

The Brentford East SPD on which the Society commented in December 2017 is no longer being taken forward but elements of the SPD are expected be incorporated into the Local Plan Partial Review for the Great West Corridor (see above).
